Chinatown Manpower Project’s Adult Literacy Program offers English as a Second-Language (ESL) classes to immigrants and refugees from around the world. Our instructors are all specialists in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and are committed to helping students achieve their goal of English proficiency.

As part of the Chinatown Manpower Project Adult Literacy Program, we also offer a Civics/ESOL program which enables clients to reach the level of English competency they need to adjust to their new environment, progress towards their employment goals, and pass the naturalization exam for U.S. citizenship. Hundreds of people enroll in the Adult Literacy program every year.
