A key element of Chinatown Manpower Project’s workforce development efforts is not only to train our clients, but to also help them secure permanent long-term employment. Our experienced Case Managers have spent years establishing contacts with employers and have a vast network of job prospects for program graduates. All of our programs have demonstrated a high level of success in placing clients who have completed their training in a position suited to meet their particular skills.

Clients may be eligible for direct job placement without attending a training program. In these cases, clients will receive a brief “world-of-work” orientation session to help them prepare for the interview, including what questions will be asked, how to dress, and what documents they need to have with them. Our counselors try to give these clients a quick overview of the job requirements so they can walk into the interview with the best possible chance of obtaining the position.
