Chinatown Manpower Project offers eight core programs, all designed to help recent immigrants and refugees obtain the tools and skills they need to succeed in their adopted homeland. Our services are designed to help any new immigrant adjust to life in America, secure permanent employment and become economically self-sufficient.
Chinatown Manpower Project currently provides a vast array of services, covering everything from the most up-to-date computer applications to entrepreneurial training. In addition to vocational skills training, our clients also receive job-related English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction, ˇ§world-of-workˇ¨ orientation, and comprehensive employment services including career counseling, internships, and job placement. Every day, more than 250 individuals take advantage of Chinatown Manpower Projectˇ¦s training and support services to receive the basic skills, technical knowledge, and career information they need to succeed in todayˇ¦s competitive job market.
