Chinatown Manpower Project, Inc. provides a vast array of services to help New York City’s growing immigrant and refugee community obtain the linguistic and vocational skills they need to become economically self-sufficient and contributing members of society. Additionally, Chinatown Manpower Project, Inc received its license to operate as a Proprietary School from the New York State Department of Education, meaning that people who attend our training programs to learn a trade or to prepare for a business occupation will receive a certificate or diploma that is recognized by New York State.

Our services include job training, English as Second Language (ESL) classes, economic development assistance, youth education programs, asset-building initiatives and citizenship classes, all designed to enhance the lives of new immigrants to the United States. Over the past thirty years, tens of thousands of new immigrants have taken advantage of our services to improve their lives in their newly adopted home.
