Workforce Development
Chinatown Manpower Project offers a wide range of job training programs for many different clients many of which are free or low-cost. All of these programs incorporate vocational English language classes with job skills training, employment preparation assistance, referrals for support services and finally job placement. In some situations, clients may be eligible for direct job placement without completing a training program.

Business Placement Services
With New York City being the center of national and international trade, the need for well-trained bilingual employees is greater now than ever before. Graduates of Chinatown Manpower Project・s programs have gone on to work in a wide range of industries, including finance, small business, wholesale and retail trade, hospitals, hotels, non-profits, and many more.<Top>

Business Development/Job Creation
Chinatown Manpower Project・s Business Outreach Center provides technical assistance, training, referrals and counseling to individuals who want to start or expand their own businesses. Our :Business American Style; classes help new immigrants understand the world of American business and become successful entrepreneurs.<Top>

Educational in Language and Life Skills
At the core of every Chinatown Manpower Project program is our English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, helping new immigrants and refugees become more proficient in English. We also offer referrals for support services such as child care, family counseling, substance abuse treatment, and more. Finally, we provide civics classes to help our clients achieve their dream of American Citizenship.<Top>

With immigrants now representing nearly 36% of the City・s population, Chinatown Manpower Project helps to bridge the gap between low-income immigrants and the rest of New York.
