FREE Youth Computer & ESL Class

Our next cycle of OSY Program is starting on November 19th, 2018 and we are now actively recruiting! If you’re between the ages of 16 and 24, and need help in enrolling in college and applying for financial aid, don’t miss the program.

Business Outreach Center (BOC) Upcoming Activities

Small Business Bootcamp: We are proud to present the 24th annual Small Business Bootcamp, a 10-week intensive course designed to assist entrepreneurs in developing management skills and refining business concepts, as well as creating business plans. Course topics range from entity formation and business regulations to financial management and access to capital. Class will begin on Saturday, 9/29, through Saturday, 12/15.

Work for Yourself@50+ Workshop: In partnership with AARP Foundation, CMP is proud to present Work for Yourself@50+ workshop to help older adults learn the ins and outs of successful self-employment. Our next workshop is on Wednesday, September 19th from 6 pm to 8 pm and it will be conducted in Mandarin Chinese. 

Legal Clinic: CMP is holding a Small Business Legal Clinic on Tuesday, September 25th from 2 PM - 5 PM. Volunteer attorneys will be available to provide free consultations on issues related to business formation, contracts and agreements, trademark and copyright, commercial leases and more.  Space is limited and registration is required.

We know how hard it is to start a new life in a new country with different culture, especially with the language barrier. Learning English might be the very first step a new immigrant will take when they're ready to start a new life in the U.S. If you need to learn and improve English skills, come join our FREE ALP (Adult Literacy Program)/ESL class.

  • 8/13/18 - 11/8/18 (Monday - Thursday)

                    Morning Class: 9 am - 11: 30 am OR  

                    Afternoon Class: 1 pm - 3:30 pm                

  • 8/18/18 - 6/22/19 (Saturday) Saturday: 9 am - 1:30 pm
