Katelyn Hong and Sean Hong, who are sister and brother, are Founders of UA3. They have developed a passion for bettering the community at an early age and improved their fellow schoolmates’ access to basic digital  necessities – computers, tablets and Wi-Fi, which are essential for students to become successful in today’s world!

2019 Gala Career Builder Award Recipient--- Dr. Karen Eng

CMP is pleased to introduce one of our five 2019 Career Building Awards Gala honorees:

Dr. Karen Eng is the President & CEO of CSMI, a leading engineering firm in the FDA & USDA regulated industries. Karen is very passionate about entrepreneurship and is active in mentoring women and minority-owned business owners with an emphasis on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education. We are deeply honored to receive the recognition and award from NYC Comptroller Scott M. Stringer yesterday at the 2019 Lunar New Year Celebration! The recognition to the work and services we have been providing to the community is important and we will continue our mission of promoting economic self-sufficiency and career advancement!

And congratulations to other honorees: NYS Senator John Liu, Korean American Family Service Center and Sun Yup Kim, president of Korean American Chamber of Commerce of New York.

It’s with regret that we announce Mr. James Liu has officially resigned from his seat on Board of Directors of CMP as he wished to spend more time on his business venture. James has been a wonderful asset to CMP and has played a significant role in the organization’s strategic and policy oversight and development direction. While we will miss James, we sincerely thank him for his great contributions and wish him all the best for his future endeavors!
