CMP Proudly Participates in the 18% & Growing Rally

On May 6th, 2026, CMP joined the 18% & Growing Rally at NYC City Hall this month, standing alongside community organizations, advocates, and leaders calling for a fair and equitable NYC budget for AAPI communities.

As part of the 18% & Growing coalition, CMP proudly accompanied our students and staff to support increased investment in culturally competent and linguistically accessible services for Asian American and Pacific Islander New Yorkers.

This year’s rally highlighted the urgent need to strengthen funding for:
• AAPI community support services
• Health access initiatives
• Nonprofit stabilization programs
• Language-accessible and culturally responsive resources

We are grateful to CACF and coalition partners for organizing this important event and for continuing to advocate for equity and inclusion across New York City.
