NYC Small Businesses - Up to $5,000 in Grant Funding
CMP Business Outreach Center is providing free application support to help eligible New York City small businesses apply for the CitizensNYC Neighborhood Business Grant Program.
The program offers grants of up to $5,000 to support small businesses that have been serving their communities and making a positive impact. Funding can help businesses strengthen operations, support growth, and expand their community impact.
Many small business owners may miss valuable funding opportunities due to language barriers or unfamiliarity with the application process. To better support local entrepreneurs and business owners, CMP’s business advisors provide assistance with:
Program information and application guidance
Eligibility assessment
Support throughout the application process
Eligible businesses must meet the following requirements:
Located in one of New York City’s five boroughs
A for-profit business operating for at least two years
Have no more than 10 employees
Not a chain business or franchise
Able to provide business documentation, such as bank statements, tax documents, or financial records
All applications will be reviewed by CitizensNYC, which will make the final decision on selected grant recipients. The application deadline is July 27, 2026.
CMP Human Resource Center encourages eligible small businesses to take advantage of this opportunity and prepare their application materials early.
